MATRIX

A game about competing priorities and seeing the full picture

Player guide

Objective: Get all 12 icons out of the matrix. The team only succeeds when every icon exits.

Setup: Join with the PIN from your facilitator. If fewer than 12 people join, some players will control more than one icon.

How to play: Select one of your icons, move it one step along its colour path, and protect the tile behind it so the Golden Rule is not broken.

Your role: Share what you can see, coordinate across colours, and manage your own icon set without losing the system view.

End condition: Debrief how interdependence, bottlenecks, resets, and competing priorities shaped the outcome.

Host a Game

Host guide

Create the room, share the PIN, wait for 4 to 12 players, review the projected icon assignments, start the game, then facilitate the debrief after all 12 icons exit.

This room always runs 12 icons. You can start with 4 to 12 players. If fewer than 12 people join, players will control multiple icons.
